Doors

We carry a large range of brand new aluminium sliding doors in stock and try to maintain a broad selection of discounted stock (factory second and second hand doors).

New Doors

Our new stock is mainly limited to standard sliding doors with toughened clear glass and no timber reveals, however we do carry some new stacker doors as well. Our new yard stock is available in the following standard powdercoats: Stone Beige, Pearl White, Custom Black and Ultra Silver. These are on the floor ready to go and are available for pick-up during our business hours. Local delivery is also available if required in the Brisbane Metro area.

Click here for our new sliding door prices.

Other styles, configurations, glass types or colours of doors are available through us brand new but a quote may be required for a price (we can usually arrange for a new door quote within 24 hours). Non-stock doors take approximately two to two and a half weeks to order in.

Screens are available for all new product. See our Screens page for what types of screens are available.

Factory Second and Second Hand Doors

Our factory second and second hand stock covers a variety of different styles of doors, including hinged and bifold doors. There is very high demand for our cheaper range and it tends to sell very quickly. As with the windows, we don’t know what we are receiving in seconds or second hand doors until it physically arrives in our yard. These types of goods are strictly subject to availability and can’t be ordered. Factory seconds are usually in good condition with only a few minor marks from handling while second hand doors will have marks from previous installation. Inspection is always recommended before purchasing.

All new product has full manufacturers warranty. All factory second and second hand product is sold as is with no warranty.

See below for pictures of different styles of doors.

Standard sliding doors consist of one sliding panel and one fixed panel of glass. These are the cheapest types of doors and come in only two configurations (where S stands for sliding panel and F stands for fixed panel):

SF - When viewed from the outside, looking in, this configuration will have the sliding panel on the left side (sliding from the left to the right) with the fixed panel located on the right.

FS - When viewed from the outside, looking in, this configuration will have the sliding panel on the right side (sliding from the right to the left) with the fixed panel located on the left.

The maximum width of a standard sliding door is 2710mm.

Stacker doors consist of one fixed panel and two sliding panels of glass. The sliding panels of glass stack over each other and both slide to the same side (stacking over the fixed panel). This allows for a larger opening when compared to standard sliding doors and the design allows for a greater maximum width (of 4038mm wide). Again, this style of door is limited to two configurations:

SSF - Sliding from the left to the right when viewed from the outside, looking in.

FSS - Sliding from the right to the left when viewed from the outside, looking in.

Centre opening stacker doors consist of six panels of glass. They have a fixed panel on either side, with four sliding panels of glass in the middle. Two sliding panels will stack each way leaving a large opening in the centre. These doors allow for a much larger maximum width of 6246mm.

Centre opening sliding doors consist of four panels of glass. There is one fixed panel on either end, with two sliding panels in the middle of the door. One sliding panel will slide each way leaving the opening in the middle. The maximum width of these doors is 5384mm

All the glass panels of a bifold door fold up leaving nearly the entire width of the door as the total opening. They are an extremely expensive and specialised product and as such, we only deal with these as factory seconds. We do not get a good enough discount from our supplier on these to provide a competitive price brand new. For a much cheaper option consider center opening or center opening stacker doors (see above).

Port Douglas (aka. French) Doors are hinged doors. They can be either one panel of glass or a hinged pair of doors. Occasionally we carry some of these doors in factory seconds but they are quite rare. We can provide competitive prices on new port douglas doors if required.
